Who we’re looking for?

You will be ambitious, eager for development and ready for a new challenge. You will want to make a real difference to helping improve governance and performance across NHS Wales.

You will need to meet the essential requirements in our person specifications, but we are equally as keen to hear from you if you believe you have the right level of experience or qualifications in complimentary disciplines.

Our teams come from a variety of backgrounds and bring a range of professional and personal experience, but we all share the same values. We listen and learn from one another while working together to get the job done. We stand by our decisions and are not afraid to challenge the status quo.

How we work

Audit and Assurance operates a flexible approach to work. Currently, we are working in line with the Welsh Government’s COVID-19 legislation and guidelines and have implemented home-working and safe onsite working regulations.

As we move on from the effects of the pandemic, we are looking at alternative ways of working while still providing an effective and client facing service to our NHS organisations. This is likely to be a blend of home and on-site working.

You will need to be able to commit to some travel throughout Wales and to making best use of our excellent technological solutions to develop, lead and support our service delivery.

As long as the customer remains at the centre, we put getting the job done above traditional working patterns. This is because we appreciate that traditional working patterns may mean we are not reaching the best candidates. Therefore, we are open to conversations about how many hours you would like to work and how you might want to work to ensure that working for us enhances your life-work balance.

Do we sound like your perfect fit?

Do you have the drive and passion to help the NHS in Wales as it recovers from COVID-19 and plans for the future of healthcare in Wales? If so, could this be the next stage of your professional journey?  Can we give you a breadth of responsibility, experience and development that you won’t find with other teams?

To find out more and how you can contribute to the NHS in Wales at a truly remarkable time please contact us for an informal conversation about what we have on offer. Our contact details can be found at https://nwssp.nhs.wales/ourservices/audit-assurance-services/contact-audit-assurance/
