NWSSP Procurement Services and Health Education and Improvement Wales teams shortlisted for national procurement award

 

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) Procurement Services Sourcing Commissioning team in collaboration with Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW), have been selected as finalists in this year’s Government Opportunities (GO) Excellence in Public Procurement Awards Wales.

The teams have been shortlisted in the Best Procurement Delivery category for their collaborative work on Health Professional Education and Training Services. The purpose of the procurement was to secure provision of high-quality education and training to ensure sustainability within the NHS workforce in Wales through commissioning pre-registration education programmes including Nursing, Midwifery and a variety of Allied Health Professions.      

The GO Awards celebrate and provides the opportunity to showcase the innovations, initiatives and advancements that make Wales a world leader in smart and effective public procurement with the winners announced at an Awards ceremony which will be held on 26 April 2022.
