During the Coronavirus pandemic, the NHS needs to be extra vigilant due to the increased risk of fraud. NHS Counter Fraud Authority (NHS CFA) have published guidance on what steps the NHS and the public can take to mitigate the risk of fraud. NWSSP Local Counter Fraud Specialist (LCFS)
Each Health body in Wales has a nominated Local Counter Fraud Specialist (LCFS) who deal with smaller scale fraud within each Health body. Counter Fraud matters arising within NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership should be reported to its nominated LCFS Mark Weston.
