NWSSP Managing Director recognised with OBE in King's Birthday Honours

Congratulations to NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) Managing Director Neil Frow who has been awarded the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) as part of HM King’s Birthday Honours List.

The OBE is a British order of chivalry, rewarding contributions to the arts and sciences, work with charitable and welfare organisations, and public service outside the civil service.

Neil was recognised for his significant contribution to NHS Wales having led NWSSP since its inception in 2011 which has been instrumental in providing a range of high quality, customer-focused professional, technical, and administrative services which support health boards and trusts in Wales.

Neil is passionate about improving the quality of health services and has pro-actively encouraged partnership working as a catalyst to improve quality of service delivery and customer focus.

Neil Frow;

" I am honoured, humbled and proud to receive His Majesty King Charles III Honour. Receiving an OBE was something that I never expected would happen to me. I am so privileged to work with some truly inspirational people within the NHS in Wales especially those within the NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership who work tirelessly in the background day in day out to support health bodies to deliver front line care.”

NWSSP Chair Professor Tracy Myhill OBE;

"I am delighted to see that Neil has been honoured in this way for his dedication and sterling commitment to NWSSP and NHS Wales. Thoroughly well deserved honour and it could not have happened to a more humble and deserving recipient.”
