NHS Wales has launched its new Fighting Fraud Strategy 2026–2030 — letting every member of staff know the part they have to play.
Fraud, bribery, and corruption can take money away from the services our patients rely on.
Put simply, every pound protected is a pound that can be used for patient care.
The new strategy sets out how NHS Wales will stay one step ahead by preventing fraud before it happens, spotting risks earlier, responding quickly when concerns arise, and working together across Wales and with partners.
Colleagues can help by staying alert, completing fraud awareness training, following good controls in area, and speaking up if something does not feel right.
