Congratulations as NWSSP Chair receives OBE

Many congratulations to our Chair Professor Tracy Myhill on receiving the honour of being awarded an OBE for her outstanding achievements that have had a long-term, significant impact and stand out as an example to others.

On receiving her OBE Professor Myhill said;

"Attending Windsor Castle to receive my OBE was a wonderful experience and one that I will never forget. So many people have enabled me to receive this honour from our front-line NHS staff providing or supporting the provision of services to our patients to those with a focus on assisting us all to improve our health.

"Honoured and humbled are words that come to mind about how I feel. This Honour also represents my family and friends without whose love and support I could not have achieved all that I have throughout my career in the NHS and in my life more generally."

"People believed in me, encouraged me, developed me, saw the potential in me and supported me throughout my 36 years in NHS Wales. I will always be grateful to them all. This Honour is as much for all of these amazing people as it is for me."​​​​​​​
