Appointment of new NWSSP Chair announced

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) is pleased to confirm the appointment of Professor Tracy Myhill OBE as the successor to our current Chair Margaret Foster OBE.  

Tracy is an accomplished senior leader with over 35 years of experience across national health service, government, housing and not-for-profit settings and has significant experience in Chair, Non-Executive Director, National HR Director, Chief Executive and Executive Director roles.

Tracy began her long and distinguished career as a clerical officer, progressing through Human Resources, and retiring in December 2020 as Chief Executive within Swansea Bay University Health Board.  Tracy has been awarded an OBE for services to NHS Wales and is an Honorary Colonel of the 203 (Welsh) Field Hospital and Honorary Professor at Swansea University Medical School.

Through her various roles within NHS Wales Tracy has direct experience of all the services provided through the NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership.

Professor Myhill will take up her new role at the beginning of December 2021.

On the confirmation of her appointment Professor Myhill said;
