Feedback 

Feedback is central to both the ongoing development and quality assurance of IFS Wales. Participant feedback is gathered routinely following training, enabling us to understand how the programme is experienced, where confidence and learning are improving, and where further support or refinement may be needed. This is complemented by the national QA process, which brings together participant experience, facilitator feedback and observational review to identify variation, share good practice and inform future programme development. In this way, feedback is not simply collected; it is actively used to support continuous improvement and ensure IFS Wales remains relevant, responsive and effective.

Following Pilot:

Participants assessed understanding across all six areas exhibited marked improvement. In the post-course evaluation, 72% of delegates rated their knowledge as either “exceptional” or “very good,” a substantial increase from the 19.6% observed in the pre-course assessment.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Edition 2 asked specifically whether the participants felt that their confidence in escalating concerns relating to fetal surveillance had improved:

• The programme demonstrated a strong impact on confidence in escalating concerns related to fetal surveillance:

- 68% of participants reported their confidence improved significantly. 

- A further 28% reported their confidence improved. 

- Only 4% reported that their confidence stayed about the same.
