Initial Service Offering
An independent Investigating Officer can apply their expertise in an impartial, trauma-informed, sensitive approach to complex matters, that may have an intersectional theme. At the same time providing important organisational learning observations, that provide insight into potential preventative measures. A comprehensive report of findings will support a fair and proportionate way forward for each case, highlighting key features of learning.
Following the introduction of the Worker Protection Act, regulatory strengthening and social shifts, this half day specialist training brings together human factors and legal expertise. Areas covered within this training include an introduction to the trauma-informed approach, understanding the law, theoretical explanations of sexual predation and how to undertake the investigation.
To deepen knowledge further, a follow up 2-hour workshop that focuses on how to identify and act upon patterns of behaviour is also available.
