NWSSP Procurement Services celebrates success at prestigious GO Awards Wales and Healthcare Supplies Association (HCSA) Awards UK
NWSSP Procurement Services teams were recently successful at the GO Awards Wales ceremony which was held on Tuesday, 5th November in Cardiff. The teams won Highly Commended awards for two categories, “Procurement Team of the Year” and “Collaborative Procurement Initiative”. In addition, the NWSSP Medicines Value Unit won a further Highly Commended award for “Best Procurement Delivery”.
Further success followed for NWSSP Procurement Services at the HCSA National Awards in Telford on Thursday, 14th November. The Division won the overall “Procurement Team of the Year” award and individual teams won Highly Commended awards in both “Sustainability and Social Value Excellence” and the “Clinical Procurement in Partnership” categories.
In congratulating his colleagues on their success, Jonathan Irvine, NWSSP Director of Procurement Services said, “I am delighted that the hard work and commitment of our staff across the Division has been recognised through these awards at a national level in Wales and the wider UK.
