Christine Buckland
Christine was born in South Wales but at a young age moved to Dorset when her father changed jobs. In 1970, the family moved a bit further afield and relocated to Zambia where Christine’s father worked as engineer in the Copper Mines until 1978 when they returned to South Wales.
Christine worked in the private sector until joining Bro Morgannwg NHS Trust in 2004 as Clinical Governance Facilitator with Women & Child Health Services. After 15 years of working in a challenging but rewarding Governance role, in the latter years focussing on Maternity Services, Christine joined the Once for Wales Project Team as a Technical Support Manager.
Christine has two daughters, a granddaughter, and a Springer Spaniel so she is kept quite busy on the weekends walking the dog and looking after her granddaughter.
