Ceri Burke

Ceri is a solicitor in the Complex Patient Team, advising upon both Court of Protection cases and inquests.

Ceri graduated with a BSc in Politics with International Relations from the University of Bath. She went on to complete the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course both with distinction. She studied for these part-time whilst working in private practice in a busy Court of Protection team.

She joined Legal & Risk in April 2022 upon qualification as a solicitor.

Ceri advises and represents Health Boards in Court of Protection matters (including s21A and s16 proceedings and Re X applications). She also represents Health Boards in Coroners' courts, particularly concerning inquests in which medical or mental capacity issues arise.
