Responsible for delivering the full range of Hire to Retire Services to NHS Wales.
Health Courier Services
Supports front line services across Wales, operating where required 24 hours a day, 365 days a year providing vital Clinical Logistical Support services for Primary and Unscheduled Care.
Lead Employer
Working in partnership with the Wales Deanery, the education providers throughout the GP speciality programme, NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) are the Lead Employer for GP Specialty Registrars.
Legal & Risk Services
Provide legal advice and representation for all of the health bodies in Wales.
Medical Examiner Service
The Medical Examiner Service will provide an independent scrutiny of all deaths that are not referred directly to the Coroner’s Service.
Primary Care Services
Provides a wide range of services to and on behalf of Welsh Health Boards and Welsh Government.
Procurement Services
Provides a full Procure to Pay service to all Health Boards and Trusts across NHS Wales, including Sourcing, Purchasing, Supply Chain and Accounts Payable functions.
Specialist Estates Services
Provides advice and support to the Welsh Government and NHS Wales organisations on a wide range of issues related to the built environment in healthcare facilities.
Student Awards Services
Implements the NHS Wales Bursary Schemes, which provides funding for healthcare students on NHS funded courses in Wales.
Surgical Materials Testing Laboratory
Provide medical device testing and technical services regarding medical devices to the Welsh NHS.
Wales Infected Blood Support Scheme
Provide support to people who have been infected with Hepatitis C and/or HIV following treatment with NHS blood, blood products or tissue in the 1980s and 1990s.
Welsh Risk Pool
Acts as a support function to health bodies in Wales and its emphasis is on improvement to patient safety and outcomes.
Accounts Payable
Provides a pivotal service for NHS Wales with regards to the payment of supplier invoices as a part of NHS Wales Procure to Pay (P2P) process.
