E-Expenses Claims

 

Adding Receipts

  • Receipts can be added by selecting the manage receipts icon.  You can then browse your drives for the saved document.  Further support can be found by selecting the Help and Support Icon within expenses.

 

Claim Approval

Approving Officer is unavailable due to sickness/ annual leave

  • Managers should delegate access to their account for others to approve in their absence.
  • Where delegate access has not been assigned, a request for claim redirection can be made.
  • Claim Redirection is a temporary change only and will not permanently change the approver. 
  • Once logged onto the portal click on log a call, and choose 'Redirect claims for approval - temporary change ' from the 'Pre-Defined' list.
  • All requests must be submitted by an authorised officer.

Expenses submitted to the wrong approving officer

  • If your expenses have been submitted to the wrong approving officer, you will need to unsubmit your claim and resubmit once the approver has been changed or Redirect claims can be requested.
  • A request can be submitted  via our ActionPoint portal
  • Once logged onto the portal click on log a call, and choose 'Re-direct claims for approval' from the 'Pre-Defined' list, you can then add the employee information in the details box.
  • Please note all submissions must from an authorised approver not the employee.

 

Including a Delegate to an E-Expenses Account

To include a delegate to an E-Expenses Account follow these steps:

  1. Navigate from the Homepage to My Details | Delegates. This will direct you to the Delegates page which displays any current users that you have configured as delegates.
  2. Click Add Delegate from the Page Options menu. This returns the Employee Search page.
  3. Enter the user's surname into the Surname field and click Search. Relevant search results will be returned below.
  4. Click Assign next to the user to provide them with delegate access. This moves the user into the Allocated Employees section. You can add as many delegates as you require using the method above.
  5. Once you have added the required delegates to your account, click Save to confirm.

Please note that this action can only be completed by the account holder.
