Ruth initially moved from West Wales to study Law at Cardiff University. Whilst at University she was a member of the Mencap Pro Bono scheme, which provided information to disabled individuals and their families to ensure they were able to access appropriate public services. During her studies she also developed an interest in Commercial and Medical law which led her to undertake an LLM focusing on these areas.
After completing her LLM Ruth started work as a paralegal at NewLaw Solicitors within the Clinical negligence department. Ruth joined Legal & Risk in 2017 as a Paralegal where she has been able to further develop her interest and knowledge in medical law. In her free time she likes reading, swimming and travelling.
